Privacy Policy

• Account information — your name, email address, salon/business name, country and city, and a securely hashed password.
• Business content you enter — client profiles, appointments, service records, formulas, inventory, and related notes you choose to store.
• Google Calendar data — if you connect Google Calendar, we access free/busy times and calendar events to show availability and mirror bookings (see “Google user data” below).
• AI assistant content — questions and inputs you submit to the in-app assistant, which are processed to generate responses.
• Device permissions you grant — microphone (for optional hands-free voice questions) and contacts (only the specific contacts you choose to import as clients). These are used solely for the feature you invoke.
• Usage and technical data — basic logs needed to operate the service securely (e.g., request metadata, error diagnostics).

• Provide and maintain the Salunora apps and features you use.
• Show your calendar availability and keep bookings in sync.
• Generate AI-assisted recommendations and education you request.
• Secure your account, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Salunora’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

When you connect Google Calendar, we request read access to your calendar events and free/busy information solely to display your availability and reflect Salunora bookings on your calendar. We do not use this data for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with third parties except as needed to provide this feature to you or as required by law. You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time from the app, which stops further access; you may also revoke access from your Google Account permissions.

To provide assistant features, content you submit may be processed by our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate a response. We send only what is needed to fulfill your request and do not use this content for advertising.

We share data with vendors only to operate Salunora, under contracts that limit their use of it:

• Google — calendar integration (when you connect it).
• OpenAI — AI assistant processing.
• Amazon Web Services — application hosting and database storage.
• Twilio — messaging features, where applicable.
• Payment processing is handled by our payment provider; we do not store full card details.

We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data (see below).

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit, hashed passwords, and encrypted storage of connected-calendar tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us at privacy@salunora.com.

Salunora is intended for salon professionals and is not directed to children under 16.

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we put appropriate safeguards in place for such transfers.

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the effective date above and, where appropriate, by notifying you in the app.
